I'm a 17 year old Irish girl who has two beautiful friends, one who has been battling an eating disorder for years, and a second who is suffering from anorexia and is being encouraged by thinspo sites to keep going. I'd never realized just how much proana blogs there was on tumblr and it horrifies me. She describes thinspo as if its a drug.Even If there is only my one tumblr against those hundreds then at least I know that on tumblr we're going to fight for our loved ones till the end.
